Three tenets continue to be our mantra. 

Monroe Smith and his young family moved to Arlington in the early 1970s following his 5 years in the US Navy. His path would lead from Texas Instruments to opening the first of 4 stores, The Little TV Shoppe; expansion into home video rentals preceded Blockbuster and brought in more customers, who found excellent service and prices. In time, new technologies ended TV shops and video stores. Exploring new opportunities, Monroe listened to a friend and went into roofing sales. The company’s treatment of customers and crew he found to be subpar. He started his own company in 2011, focusing on three tenets that had served him well: good service, good product and good value. His electronics and video customers were customers again and they referred friends, neighbors and family. Eldest son, Cory, had taken his own path in retail and wholesale sales and marketing of luxury goods. He rejoined his father in 2012, bringing his own experience and expertise; branding and marketing campaigns paired with the philosophy of service, product and value differentiated the company from the pack. The continued emphasis on the three tenets was their trifecta. Their efforts earned the coveted Angie's List Super Service Award in 2014 and 2017 and the Best of Houzz award for Service in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019. Both awards are the results of customer reviews and customer ratings of a company’s professionalism, knowledge, work quality and budget.

With roots in Arlington, which Monroe still calls home, and Dallas, home for Cory, the small company can service the DFW area and customers can count on the same three tenets.
